<p></p><p>CAMRA is celebrating the success of the 'May is Mild Month' promotion.Up and down the country people have been taking part in a range of fun activities, organised by local CAMRA branches, in order to promote this endangered style of beer and restore some of its well deserved popularity.</p><p>Throughout May, CAMRA has been running a 'Spot the Mild in the Wild' competition, where ale enthusiasts can report sightings of mild, via the CAMRA website, in order to win a mystery prize. "We have had some very promising feedback from mild fans," said CAMRA's Press and Marketing Officer Emma Dennis, "one entrant highlighted four different milds that he found on offer in a pub in Horsham. <i>[Ed - surely that must have been the Malt Shovel!]</i> Milds have been spotted right across the UK, from Brighton to Bury St. Edmunds and there has even been an overseas sighting; 'English Mild Ale' is reportedly available in Berlin!"</p><p>For full listings of mild sightings and related events and activities visit<a href="http://www.camra.org.uk/mild">www.camra.org.uk/mild</a></p><p>Cask-conditioned mild is most common in the Midlands, Lancashire and Yorkshire, though it is ararity in most parts of the country.
